I've been planting and planting and planting!!!!
This is what it looks like right now:
Here's the list and pictures of what's planted so far:
3 Heatmaster Tomato Plants (ready for harvest around 6/7/12)
1 Cherry Tomato Plant (ready for harvest around 6/2/12) There are already two small green tomatoes on this plant!
1 Green Bell Pepper Plant (ready for harvest around 6/17/12)
1 Garden Salsa Pepper Plant (ready for harvest around 6/15/12)
Cilantro (ongoing harvest - had some in my eggs for breakfast today!)
1 Red Beefsteak Tomato Plant (ready for harvest around 7/4/12)
Cucumbers (ready for harvest around 5/31/12) Still need to figure out what to use as a trellis for this and the zucchini.
Zucchini (ready for harvest around 6/2/12)
Radishes (first batch ready for harvest around 4/28/12)
Green Onions (first batch ready for harvest around 8/4/12)
Black Seeded Lettuce (ready for harvest around 5/21/12)
White Sweet Onion (ready for harvest around 7/25/12)
These are barely coming up as they were planted from seeds not bulbs like the red onions.
Giant Caesar Lettuce (ready for harvest around 6/15/12)
Red Onions (a couple batches - to be harvested after the top growth has fallen) I bought a bag of 200 bulbs and used most of them in the raised bed and three different containers.
Green Beans (ready for harvest around 6/5/12)
4 Roma Tomato Plants (ready for harvest around 6/25/12)
Carrots (ready for harvest around 6/20/12)
Mixed Bell Peppers (ready for harvest around 6/20/12) - these and the carrots were just planted from seeds today, so it will be a week or two until we see anything.
I've also got Russet seed potatoes cut and they will be planted by the end of the week. I'll also be planting a couple more batches of radishes and carrots.
The Roma tomatoes, Garden Salsa Peppers, White and Red Onions and Cilantro will all be use to make homemade SALSA!!!! I have a feeling I'll have tons, so will also try my hand at canning this year - both the salsa and diced/stewed tomatoes, maybe green beans if I have a lot. I still have some green bean seeds left, so I may plant some more, we'll see.
